Tech Talk - Web 3.0
We keep hearing buzzwords like Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. But what do these actually mean? When the World Wide Web started, the first thing everyone did was to put all their print media or material online. That was Web 1.0, where the primary usage of the Web was to enable users to publish information online. Web 2.0 attempts to now take all this published information and actually have users interact with it and with each other. Social Networking, Enterprise Applications and Applications like Facebook let you publish, share information and interact with others connected into your network.
Web 3.0 is following close on the heels of Web 2.0. The primary feature of Web 3.0 will be that Web Applications will talk to each other through programming interfaces, without human intervention, making the Web seamless. Saviance Technologies is at the forefront of this web revolution. We have built Web 2.0 applications like Viburnix, Rivinium, iLuminix and SConnect which simplify and promote data sharing and networking.
