This organization is involved with providing clothing and other basic amenities to millions of Indians in far-flung villages by converting wastage and giveaways into essential resources for the lesser fortunate. Beginning with making a cash donation to this organization, Saviance hopes to initiate a long-term association with it. |

Happy School Support
It is a school for underprivileged children in Gurgaon. Saviance sponsors the salary of one teacher every month since 2009 and food to 800 – 900 students every quarter. Saviance gives regular donations in the form of books, educational VCD etc. Saviance has also donated towards school infrastructure improvement. |

Reduction Of Carbon Footprint
Saviance in collaboration with American Embassy School has taken up a long term project for reduction of carbon footprint. In our daily lives, Carbon emissions are released by the tons by each of our actions. The effect of these emissions is known as the greenhouse effect and is a major concern worldwide; the greenhouse effect can lead to long-term effects such as our ice caps melting and sea levels rising. Saviance has made it our responsibility to combat such things from becoming reality.
Another way Saviance is trying to reduce emissions is by being involved in CDM projects throughout India. CDM(Clean Development Mechanism) projects is a mechanism from the UN’s Kyoto protocol which allows companies to be involved in the current carbon emission issues and be rewarded. Companies can use projects that are meant to reduce the amount of emission released by the company to gain credits, known as carbon credits, which have an attached currency value to it and may be used as profit. It is Saviance’s long term goal to have a CDM project of their own. |
