Booking Engine for Leading Hostelling Association in India
The Client
A non-profit making social body registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) as a non-Govt. Organisation (NGO), YHAI has been engaged in advancing the aims and objects of this movement in India by creation of a chain of Youth Hostels and youth activities.
The Challenge
The client needed a complete revamp of the look & feel of their portal along with a robust booking engine and a full fledged CMS to manage their content from the back end admin panel.
The Solution
Saviance built a complete portal for YHAI with the following functionalities.
Users can apply for YHAI membership card for getting discounts in Hostel reservations and Trekking Programme Registration.
User can book their reservation online for any hostel/ room depending on its availability. User can also cancel their booking.
- Adventure Programs/Trekking:
This page shows the trekking schedule along with option to users to make online booking for the same. User can also cancel their booking.
Also provided other functionalities like Search Module, News, Magazine, Download Forms (a central repository of all forms),State Branches, Discounts/Offers, Photo Gallery, Other Static Pages:
All the content is managed through a robust Administrator Panel which enables the admin to perform the following functions:
- User Management
- Administrator and Role management
- Membership Management: Include Category management and search for members registered through Site and adding members also.
- Trekking Programmes Management: Add/Edit/Delete Adventure Program, Add/Edit/Delete Groups(Auto / Manual Grouping), Bookings from Admin Panel, Reports(Group wise Overall Report/Group wise Cancellation Report) on Booking of Trekking Programmes done from the site.
- Hostels Management: Add/Edit/Delete hostels, Add the Availabilty in hostels, accommodation category management, change their visibility to front end users, Reports for Hostel Booking.
- Photo Gallery Management.
