-Broad knowledge of database fundamentals and expertise in one to two areas, usually acquired through three to five years of experience Oracle DBA -Needs experience in: Oracle advanced security features, Oracle10g, Oracle ASM, Data Analysis, UNIX shell scripting -Excellent written and verbal communications -Problem analysis and resolution -Additional, but not required: OEM Grid Control, Oracle RAC/cluster, Data Guard (logical and physical), RMAN

-Perform all aspects Oracle database administration -Install and manage development and production databases in UNIX and Windows environments -Perform problem diagnosis; performance tuning; capacity planning and configuration management -Assure system stability and future compatibility by monitoring production execution of all relevant systems -Create and manage physical data models and physical database designs. Assist programmers with SQL DML -Generate DCL and DDL as necessary -Produce and manage all database objects and manage user access according to standards. Perform all backup and recovery. Implement and support highly available systems
