Ambassador SatnamJit Singh - Advisor International Business
SatnamJit Singh, a career diplomat with long and varied experience in bilateral diplomacy & international conferences, retired from the Indian Foreign Service in January, 2004 in the rank of Secretary to the Government of India, after serving the nation for over forty years. His diplomatic career, spanning nearly thirty-five years, included 6 postings as an Ambassador. His assignments took him to over 100 countries around the globe. He also held senior posts in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, including Head of Africa & South East Asia Divisions. During his career, he has extensively dealt with economic & commercial issues, promoting India’s economic interests abroad. Before joining the IFS, he spent nearly 6 years in the Indian Army as an engineer. Since his retirement from the Govt. of India, he has been focusing on global humanitarian disarmament issues. He has worked as a ‘High Level Advisor’ with the UN Department of Peace Keeping Operations & is currently engaged as ‘Diplomatic Advisor’ with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), a Nobel Peace Prize Recipient NGO.

 

Dr.Lalit K. Kapur - Technical Advisor
Dr. Kapur is on the Technical Advisory Board at Saviance Technologies. He brings with him over thirty years of experience in the software industry –covering software development, SQA, software products and services sales and IT management including Profit Center Responsibilities. He has worked with organizations such as TCS, Xansa, SDI Technologies and ABC Consultants at C level positions. At TCS he was one of the top performers and one of the youngest to reach senior management levels. His exceptional knowledge in various verticals comes from his educational background. He has received his Masters & Doctoral in Business Administration from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, USA and has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi, India.

 

Devashish Bharuka - Legal Advisor
Devashish Bharuka is the Managing Partner of Bharuka Associates, Law Firm based at New Delhi. After acquiring a law degree from Bangalore and a Masters of Law degree from Harvard University, he started his practice in the chambers of S.B. Sanyal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India. He then went on assist AmarendraSharan, Additional Solicitor General of India for a short stint before floating his own law firm. With a rich experience of ten years behind him, he is involved in corporate litigation before the Supreme Court and various High Courts across the country. His firm advises in specialized areas like telecom, electricity, mines, information technology, coal, etc. He was declared an Advocate-on-Record by the Supreme Court of India in 2006. He is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and Treasurer of the Harvard Club of India.

 

Dr. M. L. Singla - Education Advisor
Professor of IT Management, Mr. Singla has been a faculty member at FMS since 1985. He has also worked with MDI, Gurgaon and Tata Consultancy Services, New Delhi. He has over twenty-eight years of professional experience both in Academics and Industry in the specific areas of Information Systems, Business Process Re-engineering, e-Governance, SCM/CRM, Strategic IT Management and Decision Support Systems. He is actively involved in teaching, training, research and consultancy in different areas of Management such as IT, CRM, SCM, BPR, Communication Skills and Time Management. He has been involved in planning of IT usage and process renovation for organizations in the capacity of Advisor. He has published more than 25 Research Papers, 2 Books and completed 3 Research Projects. Currently, he has 3 Research Projects under execution. Worked as Dean(Alumni) of the University of Delhi (2006-2008) and Dean (Examinations) of the University of Delhi (2006-2009).He has been awarded IBM Faculty Award for research in BPR/BPM.

 

Joseph John –Advisor - South India and Sri Lanka
Joseph John has spent 26 years with just two Companies: SKF Bearings and then NSK India Sales Company, both world leaders in Ball and Roller Bearings. Jojo joined SKF in 1985 and rose rapidly from being Branch Manager at Coimbatore to being Divisional Manager for International Marketing and Aftermarket at the Mumbai Head Office, before he left them to join NSK in 1996. Jojo started the NSK Japan Branch operation in India and helped establish its four offices around the country before being appointed President of the NSK India Sales Company when it was formed in 2008. Jojo was awarded the President of India’s Medal for Best Outgoing Student at Lawrence School, Lovedale from where he developed a keen interest in its Alumni and is actively involved in the Association. He studied at REC, Calicut and has a Diploma in Training from the University of Cambridge. Joseph is also an alumnus of the CASE Alumni Relations Institute from Singapore.

 

John Dornbusch – Managing Director, Australia

John Dornbusch is the Managing Director for countrywide operations in Australia. John is a stockbroker by training and Chairman of Dornbusch Partners, a private financial services company in which he holds the majority equity. He was previously a state manager and a senior executive of Macquarie Financial Services, a subsidiary of Macquarie Bank, Australia's largest investment bank. John has twenty plus years’ experience in corporate capital raising. He has also been a State Government appointment to University Governing Councils for over a decade so have considerable experience in the higher education sector. John is also the Deputy Chancellor of the University of Southern Queensland, recognized several years ago as the world's best distance higher education provider and is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a graduate from Harvard Business School where he completed his OPM program.
